I was just thinking how great it would be to have a pay now button that was integrated in the invoice or the email we're sending when an order is placed. Especially for orders that are made via the call center/ other payment methods... any ideas on this?

This would be useful for orders recovery (see latest version) where we e-mail an unpaid order - a pay button in the e-mail would be magic!

I saw that there already is a pay now possibility when the order is viewed from within the member area, so I owuls think that including this data into the email should not be such a big deal. viart: is that correct?

afaik this has not materialized yet. still think it would be a great little help to improve sales by giving people a second chance payment option. I will try and look into this next week when I hopefully have some more time... Maybe cart recovery function can be helpful here...

hmm, it has to be included in the dynamic content settings you can use for user email notification on the final checkout pages in payment systems.
this is how the pay now link works: {user_order_payment_href}?order_id={order_id}&vc={vc}">{PAY_FOR_YOUR_ORDER_MSG} <!-- end pay_link -->
could anyone from viart please comment on this?

I am very surprised that this is done - the OPC feature that was submitted to Viart many weeks ago is having to wait until after 3.7 is released.
I have just checked with Anjula and she confirmed that the new release takes priority of custom code.
Did ewoud respond to you, Ibn Saeed, about whether it works?

I think they were able to implement is so quickly, it was an easy fix in the code.
where OPC is one Major Feature.
This is what ewoud said in the email : " I thought Viart had changed a whole file but it turns out to be only one line of text which you can use in the 'order recovery settings' admin>orders> order recover> then see at the bottom. I guess I could have figured this one out myself, when I look at it..."
