Before adding a manual, it is necessary to create a category which is a parent directory for all manuals. To do this go to Administration > Manuals and click the New category link on the left column.
The first option Allow to view category to gives you you the posibility to permit or forbidden your users to view the category you create.
Type in a category name in the Category Name field. This name will be shown up when users will search for a necessary manual or article.
Category Order field specifies the position you want this category to be. Higher numbers means this category will sink down in the list, lower numbers mean the category will rise up.
Friendly URL field allows you to specify a search engine friendly URL for this category.
Short Description and Full Description fields require a short and full description for your category correspondingly.
Meta Title, Meta Keywords and Meta Description fields assign corresponding HTML tags of the main page of your site.
After filling all these fields click the Add button and your category will be added. |
