The obvious main section any shop whether it is an online store or an outlet, is the product section.

With ViArt Shop it is possible to customize the main page where all products (or at least product categories) will be listed, as well as the detailed product pages (where each product is described separately).

Initially, when a customer clicks the 'Product' button at your site navigation bar, he or she is forwarded to the so called 'List page' (products.php). By default it consists of two main blocks: the 'Products (Categories)' (this allows users to browse through the product categories) and the 'Product list' (shows the products belonging to that category). As the main feature of ViArt Shop is its customizability, it is possible to set up the 'List page' as you require through the administration section (see section 5.1.1). We would strongly recommend to have the 'Shopping Cart' block within all pages

It is very important that a customer can see a full product description, outlining as much information as necessary for the user to decide if the product suits their needs. For this reason, every product on your online store has its own 'Product details' page (product_details.php). Here you can provide full information about the product including name, full description, price, specifications, reviews etc.
You can set up the main view of such pages at the 'Product detail page' administration section (see section 5.1.2). Note that all the settings for each product is specified individually (for more information see section 5.4).

Note: in order to get to the 'List page' and 'Product detail page' sections you need to go to Administration > ViArt CMS > Site Layout and click the corresponding link at the 'Product Catalogue Layout' block.
