2.3. Customizing storefront appearance

There is no wonder that you want to make your online portal unique and unforgettable. With ViArt CMS you can do this on fly. It turns changing look and feel of your site into an easy and pleasant process.

ViArt CMS is built on a multiple-layouts basis. It means that in order to make your site look different you have only to switch active layout. Presently there are three default layouts supported (see section 2.3.1). But you can create as many as you want yourself or taking advantage of our web-design services. You can find more information about this at our site.

The basic structure of all ViArt CMS pages looks like the following:

In order to change the design of your site you have to edit the corresponding layout templates. Since ViArt CMS designs are built on CSS files, you can customize all three templates by editing a single file. All CSS files are stored in the 'styles' folder.

In case you want to edit a single page, you have to edit its template. Please follow the instructions below:

Go to the "/templates/user" folder of your ViArt CMS installation.

Note:

Find an appropriate file.

Make appropriate changes.

The described above method allow changing the look and feel of your store on the whole, but in order to change its details you can use ViArt CMS that is very easy and handy.
