It is natural to desire an online help desk which is both unique and unforgettable, with ViArt Help Desk you can do this 'on fly'.
One of the main advantages of ViArt is its integrated
Content Management System, also known as ViArt CMS. With this, it is possible to change the complete look and feel of your help desk in a quick, easy and pleasant manner.
Note: ViArt CMS is a powerful system which includes several sub components, in this section we will only examine one part, 'Site Layouts'.
ViArt HelpDesk is built upon a multiple-layouts basis, this means that in order to change the complete look of your help desk, you only need to switch the active layout. Presently, there are eight layouts included as default (see section 4.3.1) It is possible to create as many additional layouts as you require, or you can take advantage of our web-design services.
You can find out more information on our service here.
In order to change the design of your online help desk you need to edit the corresponding layout templates. Since ViArt HelpDesk designs are built on CSS files, you can customize all eight templates by editing a single file.
Please follow the instructions below:
- Go to the "/templates/user" folder of your ViArt HelpDesk installation.
Note: If you want to change the look and feel of your administration section, you should proceed to the "/templates/admin" folder.
- Find an appropriate file.
Usually, each ViArt HelpDesk page has its own template that is stored in a .html file. E.g.
"index.php" has template "index.html". In order to customize your site you need
to edit the corresponding .html file.
- Make appropriate changes.
The above method allows you to change the look and feel of your help desk on the whole, in order to change individual details you can use the functionality of the ViArt CMS.
