2.3.1. Default layout templates

ViArt CMS is supplied with three default layouts, namely 'Default', 'Curved' and 'Silver'. In order to manage them please go to Administration > ViArt CMS > Site Layout

In order to set up a layout just click the 'Make Active' link in the 'Status' column. The current layout is marked as 'Active'.

In ViArt CMS layout is something like a plan or arrangement of your store pages. You can attune each layout in a different manner and change the feel and look of your store with just a simple click.

There are three main parameters that you can set up for every layout:

active color scheme
global view
site navigation

Each layout has several active color schemes. Here is the list of all possible options:

Default	Curved	Silver
Blue Green Light blue Red	Black Blue Pink	Dark Light

If you want to change a scheme just click the 'Change active scheme' link and select the one you like.

Please note that the overall view of each layout is determined by its global settings. With ViArt CMS you can create custom layouts or edit the existing ones. For more info see section 2.3.2

Also you can set up an individual navigation system for every layout. see section 2.3.3 for more information.

With ViArt CMS you site pages will be constructed with so called blocks. There are a lot of predefined blocks in the system, though you can add new ones. This can be done via the �Custom block� link. At present you hardly need it, but in order to get more information please see details
