When a customer proceeds to the checkout, they are first required to detail the 'Checkout: Personal information' page which asks the user for their personal information such as name and address. To modify this first checkout page to suit your needs please go to Administration > Order Profile Page.
The order profile page consists of three main sections:
HTML Settings
It is possible to customize your 'Order Profile' page with some sort of introduction by entering the text into the 'Intro text' text area; if you do so it will be displayed at the top of the 'Checkout: Personal information' page. There is also an ability to set up a currency block, so your customers will be able to select an appropriate currency immediately when checking out.
Data fields
With ViArt Shop you have a series of predefined data fields as well the ability
to create custom ones (for more information about custom fields see section 4.1.2).
The predefined fields are as following:
Ticking a field with a check mark will display it in the corresponding section of the
'Checkout: Personal information' page. You can also specify whether a field is required or not.
Note: Some fields (for example, ‘Company Selection’, ‘State’ or ‘Country’) will be shown to customers in the form of a list box. So, you have to arrange the list at the ‘Static tables’ section (for more info see section 12.3).
E-mail notification
With ViArt Shop you can receive e-mail notifications of different events occurring at your store.
Moreover you can set up e-mail notifications for your customers as well. Tick off the corresponding
check boxes and the system will send e-mail whenever a new order is placed.

ViArt Shop can send email messages in both HTML and Plain text formats.
Setting the 'Message Type' radio button to 'HTML' allows sending emails in
HTML format, thus HTML tags will be used for formatting the message as HTML. The 'Plain text'
option discards any HTML formatting - the message will be sent as it is.
Another option of e-mail notifications is that you can use special ViArt Shop tags.
These tags are placed in braces and when an e-mail message is sent are replaced by tags values.
For example, the {first_name} tag will be replaced by the first name of the customer who submitted the order.

settings and see all available message tags' link. Note that you can add these tags into your email body and email subject.
SMS notification
ViArt Shop allows you staying up to date wherever you are and whatever time it is now. Should a certain event occur, the system will send an SMS notification to you as well as to your customer. However, you have to set up a special SMS gateway beforehand. (For more information see section 3.5).
The main fields you will have to fill out in order to enable SMS notifications to you and your customers are as following:
- Send SMS Notification to Administrator/User enables/disables the notifications.
- SMS Recipient/Originator should contain the corresponding number in international format.
- SMS Message contains the message itself; keep in mind using special tags. (You can look through the full list of such tags by clicking the 'click here to see all available message tags' link.)
Note: Actually, the SMS notification settings will depend on the SMS service you will be using. Anyway, feel free to contact our support team if there are any difficulties.
In order to save the changes you made click the 'Update' button. If you want to leave without saving click 'Cancel'.
