1.2. Installing Viart CMS

The ViArt SMC installation process is divided into two logical steps. In the first part you provide database settings and create the database tables. In the second one you decide which layout and formatting settings you want to use. In order to complete the part 1 you should decide where to locate your online store. Depending on this there may be the following choices: Installing on Windows (see section 1.2.1) Installing on Linux (see section 1.2.2) Installing with Auto-Upload script (see section 1.2.3) In order to complete part 2 you will need Installation Wizard (see section 1.2.5) You can also take advantage of Installing with Viart Hosting (see section 1.2.4).
