1.2.3. Installing with Auto-Upload script

If you want to let us do the install for you automatically, select the Auto Install Script option from http://www.viart.com/upload_product.php

The script will carry out the installation process for you, mailing you at the start of the process and when installation has completed. The whole procedure usually takes only a few minutes.

The fields on the Auto Upload Script Page are as follows:

Product for upload: Select which ViArt product you want to install. Although the picture above shows ViArt Shop, please select ViArt CMS.
Hostname: Your web server's FTP address e.g. ftp.viart.com.
FTP login: Your FTP login name, usually the same as the login name you use to administrate your web domain.
Password: Again, this will usually be the same as your web domain's admin password.
Remote path: The path to install your ViArt products to. This will usually be public_html or www.
FTP port: The FTP port (usually 21, so you can normally leave this blank)
Email address for process notification: The email address to send the installation 'started' and 'finished' notifications to.

After filling in these details, click the Upload button to commence the process.

Email Notification

An email will be sent to notify you that activation has started, and when/if it has completed successfully.

Once the installation has completed you will need to proceed with the Installation Wizard (see section 1.2.5).
