If you want to move from ViArt Free Version to the commercial one, you just have to choose and buy the license that mostly suits your needs. We will send you the unique license serial number that you are to activate and put the license.php file in the 'includes' folder of your shop. And that's all. The purchase of the license will not require the re-installation of your database or shop.

• Step 1: Once you purchased the license go to viart.com/activation page and paste the Serial Number you received in email notification:

• Step 2: On the next page type your domain into the field "Domain Name #1" and click Generate button:


Note: In case you need to generate license for an old ViArt version select option '3.6 and below'.

Note: License activated for a domain like www.yoursite.com can be used for a subdomain www.yoursite.com/demo. But it won't work for a subdomain www.demo.yoursite.com - it is considered a new domain name and requires an additional activation or a new license.

Note: The license.php file includes local hosts by default so if ViArt Shop is installed on the local computer there is no need to generate a separate license file for it.



• Step 3: Download the generated file and save it somewhere on your computer.



• Step 4: Extract the files from zip archive, open your site via any FTP client program (for example, FileZilla is a free FTP client) and copy the license.php file in the includes folder of your shop.


Important: Before coping 'license.php' file remember to select BINARY mode (or transfer type) in your FTP program settings otherwise you will receive a Fatal error notice when opening your site.
