CUSTOMBLOCKHEADING.png (27Kb)
We have a custom block without a block title.

This is showing a 2 or 3 pixel line where the title bar displays and we cannot remove the bar.

The idea is to have a custom block, with no title and no background image/color where the title would normally display.

The blue line above the image boxes should not display at all in that there is no title for the block.

How do we fix this?

Is this on all of your pages, or just the one?

I'm guessing you've got a wrong setting in your .css file.

We are using a custom block consisting of a photo grid under a custom block of text on the home page layout.

This is the only location - thus far - that we are using a block w/o any title text.

We have tried a couple of css code inserts, none of which affect it at all.

Is there a special coding that you can suggest that we should try?

We "classed" the block and entered css for the class, but it affected nothing.

can you provide the css on that custom block? Are you using v4.2?

Using latest version.

We nuked the code but we got it from either the manuals on the site or the forum, can't recall exactly.

It was four lines of "class" code that was supposed to control the display of a block header without text.

Yeah - that's old code.

We'll get you a custom one later today. Just busy with other projects.

Understand.

At your convenience.

We have a temp fix by putting the image grid into the same text block, but that won't work long term as we may want the image grid on other pages - without the block title and that annoying line.

Cheers.

On the CMS layout, click the toolbox on that block, then on the appearance tab, try using (in the block style):

hidden-title .BlockTop

That worked! The block style removed the background image of the title area.

Still needs some css to move the block up to compensate for the space, which the code doesn't take into consideration, but we can deal with that as needed.

Thank you very much for the help. We will be using this a number of times as this is a site with a huge amount of CMS content, yet alone the cart functions, which will be make active later this year.

Thanks again.
