I am interested in creating a daily email of product changes within a category.
Unless someone can suggest otherwise, this is my plan and problem.
I use PHPlist as my newsletter management/sending application. PHPlist can incorporate RSS feeds into newsletters and suitably email these out in our regular template. Sounds good so far.
But I want to create an RSS of the product listing block within a specified category page. That way PHPlist will pick this up as the RSS feed source.
So it should all hand together, but.... can anyone describe for me if can use Viart's internal RSS capabilities to generate this feed.
I don't really want to provide RSS in the breadcrumbs, so if I turn on RSS capabilities within Viart, I can get rid of the RSS icon in the breadcrumbs by altering the template.
Any ideas at all about generating the feed for this specific category page product listing?
