Product searching might be useful not only for customer but and for administrators as well. Sometimes it might be difficult to keep in mind all the products you have in your store or you want to display only those that match certain criteria.

The product search is available from the 'Products and Categories' section (Administration > Shopping Cart > Products and Categories). There are three list boxes and a text one for specifying search criteria:

• Stock allows specifying whether the product(s) searched for should be in or out of stock.
• Sales allows specifying whether the product(s) searched for should be available for sale or note. Note that you can set this up on a corresponding product detail page. (see section 5.4.2).
• Categories allow selecting the category where the product(s) searched for should be.

One more option is to enter a word or a phase that should be present in the product name. You also can use the product code value.
