As time goes by, you might need to present some kind of individual discounts. In that case you can use discount coupons and gift vouchers.
Note: In order to use discount coupons you have to enable them (see section 3.1).
ViArt Shop distinguishes three types of such coupons:
The overall management is performed through the 'Coupons' section (Administration > Shopping cart > Coupons).
As there are no coupons in the system yet, you will get the 'No coupons were found' message. However,
normally the system will show all existing coupons. You can also filter the coupons by such criteria as
Active, Non Active, Used and Expired.
In order to add a coupon, click the corresponding link at the bottom of the block.
A note to keep in mind when working with discount coupons:
In order to apply a coupon you customers should proceed to checkout via the 'Amend Cart' or 'View Cart' links.
