After providing personal and delivery details, a customer proceeds to the 'Checkout: Payment details' page. In order to customize this page please go to Administration > Sales orders > Payment Systems > Payment Details Page
(choose the corresponding link).
The page you are presented with is very similar to that of the 'Sales Order Profile Settings' page
(see section 4.1.1). Within this page you can manage the following sections:
HTML Settings
Any text which is placed into the 'Intro text' text area will be displayed at the top of the Checkout: Payment details' page. If required, you may also use HTML tags.
Payment Data Fields
Many parameters are predefined, however, it is also possible to create your own.
Note: For more information regarding custom fields see section 4.1.2.
The process of creating a custom field for the 'Checkout: Personal information' page is
very similar as that for the 'Checkout: Payment details' page. Differences are as follows:
- The 'Field Type' option can be set to 'Active' or 'Hidden'
- There is no the 'Tax Free' option
- There is no the 'Price' column in the 'Option Values' section
The predefined fields are:

Selecting the tick box in the 'Show' column will display the field to customers, a tick in the 'Required' column will make the field required.
Note: Some fields (for example, 'Start date', 'Expiration Date', 'Card type' etc.)
will be shown to customers in the form of a list box. In order to customize/arrange this list please go to the 'Static tables' section (for more info see section 12.3).
Secure Options
The following settings specify the security level for the administration side of your online store.

- Cut off from credit card number four last digits. If this option is ticked, credit card numbers will be displayed to all administrators without 4 last digits (Administration > Orders Maintenance > Order)
- Credit Card Number and Security Code tell the system how to handle the corresponding data: store encrypted (with this option it is not possible to restore the data) or do not store at all
Note: There are two more security-related issues: security issues (see section 2.5) and secure pages (see section 3.1)
E-mail notification
You can set the system to send you e-mail notification whenever a customer provides his/her payment details. To do this simply tick the 'Send Notification to Administrator' check box and fill out the corresponding fields.
Note: It is possible to view a detailed description of all e-mail fields by selecting the 'click here to learn more about all email fields' link.
ViArt Shop can send email messages in both HTML and Plain text formats. Setting the
'Message Type' radio button to 'HTML' will allow you to send emails in HTML format, thus HTML
tags will be used for formatting message as HTML. The 'Plain text' option discards any HTML
formatting - the message will be sent exacly as it is.
Another option within e-mail notifications is the ability to use special ViArt Shop tags.
These tags are placed in braces and when an e-mail message is sent, the tags are replaced by the tags
values. For example, the {cc_name} tag will be replaced by the cardholder name.
You can view the full list of such tags by clicking the 'click here to learn more about
email settings and see all available message tags' link. Please note that you can add these tags
into your email body and email subject.
SMS notification
ViArt Shop allows you to stay up to date wherever you are, at whatever time!. Should a certain event occur, the system will send an SMS notification to you as well as to your customer. In order to set this up, you must first set up a SMS gateway. (For more information see section 3.5).
The main fields that you need to fill out in order to enable SMS notifications are as follows:
- Send SMS Notification to Administrator Enables/disables the notifications.
- SMS Recipient/Originator This should contain the corresponding number in international format.
- SMS Message This contains the message itself; keep in mind the ability to use special tags. (You can look through the full list of such tags by clicking the 'click here to see all available message tags' link.)
Note: The SMS notification settings will depend on the SMS service you are using. If you have any problems setting this up, please feel free to contact our support team.
In order to save the changes you made click the 'Update' button. If you want to leave without saving click 'Cancel'.
