Product types allow you to group products with similar characteristics and set some common options and specifications.

In order to set up product types you have to go to Administration > Products > Product types.

You will see the full list of default product types supplied with ViArt Shop. The section allows you to:

• sort product types by their ID number or alphabetically (click the up and down arrows next to the corresponding column name);
• proceed to other sections associated with product types;
• add new product type (click the corresponding link at the bottom of the block).
