As a rule, when adding a product you have already assigned up to three images (see section 5.4.2). However, with ViArt Shop you are able to add some more; the number of additional images is unlimited.

In order to do this please go to Administration > Shopping Cart > Products & Categories > your category > your product > Images. As there are no images assigned at the moment, you have to add them. Click the 'New Image' link. Your screen should look like the following:

• Image Title will be displayed above the image as its title.
• Preview Image and Large Image specify the full path to the image file; the large image will be shown in a new window.

Note: You can select a predefined image if you click the 'Select Image' link or upload a new one by clicking the 'Unload New Image' link. In case you want to select a new image you have to upload it first (the 'Unload New Image' link) and then select it (the 'Select Image' link).

• Image Description may include some explanations and will be displayed below the image.

Note: You can edit settings of an existing image through the same page by clicking the 'Edit Image link'.

Rollover Effect

There is one more interesting feature available for the products images - the rollover effect. The rollover effect for products images is the effect you see when one image replaces another as your mouse moves over it. In other words you can upload several images and your basic image will be changed when you move your mouse over these images.

To activate the rollover effect go to Administration > CMS > Products Details Page, select the 'Products Details' block and select 'Use rollover effect to show it in the frame' in the Product Details Settings for this block, like in the example below:

Click the 'Update' button and visit your site (products details page). Now you will see that the images you uploaded are changed when you move a mouse over them. This feature is useful if you need to show your product in different designs, colours, variants, etc.
