You will see that I have requested a WYSIWYG editor for
Administration > Orders Maintenance > Order > Send Email Message
 
My staff send many messages to customers about their order - queries, out of stock, replacements and so on.
It would make so much difference if the could do this in rich text, so I would like a text editor available here.

I have just had some customisation done and an extra $50 is a bit heavy on the budget just now.
 
I would like to invite 4 or 5 fellow users to share this.
 
I know that such requests get messy so let's be clear, it is just to add the WYSYWIG editor to the order response that you get when you click the customer's email address in the order detail.
 
If you want soemthing else please use a different thread and leave this one for anyone who would like to share this with me.
 
$10 each [5 sharing] is very little for such a benefit?

If you wish we can add a WYSIWYG HTML Editor for the Send Email Message (Administration>Orders Maintenance>Order>Send Email Message) for additional fee $50.
There are some other e-mail notifications that can be sent for orders via admin section and they do not have WYSIWYG HTML Editors but only the possibility to use HTML. If you wish that we add WYSIWYG HTML Editor for other email notifications too, please let us know where exactly you wish that we add them and we will estimate the cot of such customization.

It is unfortunate that you do not have a WYSIWYG editor on email messages from orders. You provide the optin for html but it is so unlikely that staff using this could add a message in html ->
Administration > Orders Maintenance > Order > Send Email Message
 
Is this something you could update easily?
 
There are a number of other places where this editor is missing.

I just saw this from the link you gave on another thread. I'd love to go in on an html editor emails initiated from the order page. I use it a lot. Of course, these emails aren't saved anywhere, just the subject is saved, so I make sure the subject is complete enough to remind me what I wrote.
 
Is that your logic as well?

The e-mail does record the whole message on the order - at the foot of the page a list of messages is shown as links - click an read message. Also the customer can read these messages in their pages.
 
I am having it installed - there is a technical hitch which means it should by done by mid week.
 
I did not get your message - these mesages go to the shop but I work at a different location so perhaps I will get it when I next go there.

Wow! I just upgraded to 3.6 a few days ago and had not yet realized it saves the order>email content and can display it at the bottom of the page. Very cool!
 
I am just headed out for a couple of days but would like to go in on the wysiwig editor when I return. I'm in the US, and I seem to remember your cart was not available for US customers. Will the payment link you gave me work okay?

Viart has installed the same one that is use in adding products.
 
I am happy with the consistency so that all my staff work to the same presentation - consistency is important to getting the orders out fast; and, in truth, I don't have the time to mess with trying to install anything else.
