Can anyone give me some tips on how to extract a report on:
 
Sales (completed - not just placed)
by product (number sold and value)
by month
 
I have been in business long enough that I should be able to see product trends and better identify top sellers and poor sellers.
 
Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi chris, you can use order reports, narrow your search to sold, select month, than select the product button,
will give you a breakdown of what and how many sold in the criteria you setup

Thank you birdman - I hadn't drilled down that far.
 
Unfortunately it still leaves me short of info - such as trends of top selling products over a period; what products sell less [or more] than a certain amount (too much work to scroll through hundreds of products).
 
It would help if I could generate a download report to analyse in Excel of course!

Yes i also Agree....
Be nice to be able to get an accurate list of "for us" sales of what product % sold per month, as we sell seasonal ingredients...
But find this is getting us by for now.
