Is the Viart affiliate module capable of being configured to pay 2nd tier commissions?

Example:

If person A joins the affiliate program they can earn 10% of sales.
If person A then refers/introduces 10 people to the affiliate program then person A can earn a further 5% on all sales generated by the 10 affiliates introduced by person A.

The 10 new affiliates will earn 10% on all sales generated by themselves. But person A cannot earn commission from new affiliates introduced by these 10 people, it would not extend past the 2nd tier. Although the 10 new people could earn 5% commission on all their referrals introduced to the program.

This would mean that all persons joining the affiliate program on level 2 under any affiliate will earn this person an affiliate commission from all the sales they make.

I would be interested to hear if anybody has or knows how to do this. Broad grin

As with most sites it is still a work in progress, enjoy.

I really think you've got a great start. I would indicate that too much is going on in the nav bar, and could probably be organized a little bit better, but otherwise, it's a superb start. Broad grin

Hmmm.... Thanks for those kind words Dan, definitely some food for thought there about the nav bar though.

Do you know if it is possible to configure the affiliate module to pay 2nd tier commissions for affiliate referrals?

Or is this something I should be asking the Viart team?I don't know

Dan, I succumbed to your advice & removed 2 of the links from the top nav bar, can now be found at page footer.

In retrospect your advice was good because it looks a lot less cluttered now, so thanks again. Good
