1 Can I have the same shop on separate domains.
 
e.g. myshop.co.uk and myshop.com
 
2. This is assuming that I can connect to the same database with both stores.

I have seen Anjulas answer in the other thread which is pretty clear for those of you that are using the paid version, but my store is so small that I operate the free one.

Yes you can use multiple domains with the free version. You still will have the limitations that the free version has however.

Just to make note... I did do the 3.4.1 and it works excellent

Here's a paid version question. I purchased the software and I am starting to setup multiple sites. Do I have to create a new folder for the domain and copy the root files to the new folder for each domain or it is shared? I would assume you will have to create separate folders as it has completely different purpose and content.:wallbash

yes you need to copy all the files to another folder e.g the one that is the home directory for the second site
