I am a newbie and am having an issue setting the column width on a page. I am using a article page to get a three column page. I set the colume widths at 20/40/40.
 
My problem is that the widths are not "locked" for want of a better term. I put the newsletter subscription block in the 20 column and it pushed the column with to almost half the page.
 
How can I enforce these column widths?

I would probably use an invisible 1px gif and set it to whatever width you want, such as height='1' width='200' etc. and put them in each column.
