My client would like to use the newsletter capabilities, but the text field for content doesn't have a wyswyg editor so they can easily drop in images and format the text.

Am I missing the feature, if so where would I turn it on.
It would seem hard to imagine that the end user would need to know html to send a visually attractive newsletter.

Thanks again,

If you're looking for a visually attractive email, then yes... definately the end user would need to be able to create that.

However, I'm sure ViArt would make this customization for you...

I totally aggree with wecreateyou. The newsletter interface must have WYSIWYG editor and it should be free...

Yes, it could be a free feature. The paid one will be to insert artices and products by a single click to the newsletter...Broad grin

It's interesting. I felt the same until I started using Firefox and installed the FF add-in Xinha! This allows me to create html in any input box in Viart with more wysiwyg features. VERY easy.

It may not be ideal for all clients but within my business even my shop staff can now add detail with html!

It is easy to complain but I am sure Viart knows of the shortfalls - they will judge the priorities for what is an exceptionally good value product.

If this solution could work for you I recommend you try it.

I use Frontpage to create the newsletter then just copy and paste the html code to viart's newsletter section. Although it's not ideal, it works out for me .
