Hello,

I'm needing to capture the details and process transactions manually.
It seems logical this should be activated and working but it isn't for me (using personal)

In the manual I read:

If you are going to carry out the whole ordering process on your own site,
you will need to check the customer payment data and process his/her credit
card. In this event you will need to set up Advanced Parameters and fill out
the following fields:

So It sounds like I need a script to collect the CC
details? (placed in public_html/payments)

Is this why I'm having trouble with my install while trying to go through
ordering procedure testing?

I asked support for this info last week but haven't heard from email so I try here with what I did get from support so far:

support: Please use a Personal payment system for just getting payment details and
store it in database. They can be reviewed on Orders page, just select
View/Edit link besides the order.

Me:
I do and No the details are NOT there.
I need the credit card number, expiry, security code etc to process the card/order manually. Where is THIS information and or where is it stored on my server? All cc details are NOT shown. If they are supposed to be they are NOT there.

I use export function and this file is blank!!!! I have store unencrypted selected for cc deatils.

So lets sum it up.
I can't progress through the checkout using the personal; system for checking how the system works without error
"Sorry, there appears to be a problem with your credit card number - please check and try again". So I can't get passed this to a thank you page, final order page. (order_confirmation.php etc)

I'm not seeing any cc details for making the transaction through my virtual terminal manually. And I can't export the information. I don't get CC details sent to my admin email address either.

So can you tell me why this is and hopefully how to get around these problems please?

I have asked if these functions are disabled deliberately in the trial I have installed on serve prior to payment. However, I have not be told this is the problem, so, so far this isn't working at all for me, although I can logically see how it could and should operate I think.
Sorry I don't mean to sound pissed off or so. I see these functions work on other shop cart demos (including showing card details etc in ashop n litecom, I do like viart concept better I think) and I can't pay out hundreds of USD if I'm not sure that I will have the abilities I need to run my sales system (they don't work on the viart online demo either so). Please help!

Hi Ken,

If you want just to collect you customer's payment details please use a predefined Personal Payment System. It's usually first one that you can see on Administration > Payment Systems.

So the algorithm of you actions is the following:
1. Go to Administration > Payment Systems.
2. Make Personal system Active.
3. Click link 'Payment Details Page' right to Personal system.
4. Select all fields that you want to be filled in by your customers.
5. Press Update button.

How to test:
1. Go to your web site Products page.
2. Add a product to the cart.
3. Press Checkout link.
4. Register an account if needed.
5. On Checkout :: Personal Information screen select Personal system from list of available Payment Gateways.
6. Fill in personal/delivery details.
7. Press Continue button.
8. On Checkout :: Payment details screen fill in payment fields.
9. Press Continue button.
10. On Checkout :: Confirmation screen press Continue button.
11. You get a Thank You page.

Where to find payment details:
1. Go to Administration > Sales Orders.
2. Click View/Edit link at the right side of the row with brief order information.
3. Find section named 'Payment Details' with all payment parameters that you have previously filled in as a customer.

Let us know if something is not working for you.

Hi,

No none of that works. I have sent you access to please check what's the problem.

I am convinced my install is acting like the functions are disabled. I mean that EVER possible way I might possibly get the cc details etc I need to process don't work. I can not view in admin. I set to send me a email with them to me. It doesn't work.
I set the the "allowed credit card" option for a certain number: Go through the checkout and get the same error like "please check card and try again" yet if I use another number with that option I get like: "this number not acepted" which shows me the form IS handling my input in a deliberate way. Which helps me conclude that the install is blocking me from using it.

Anyway, I have sent login to admin to your support and hope you can take a quick look and advise. I will appreciate it a lot ;)

Hi Ken,

The error that you are faced to may occur because of incorrect credit card number. All credit card numbers are generally verified by a check sum.
Please try to use a card number like 4111 1111 1111 1111 or 4444 3333 2222 1111 for test purposes.
