When checking out with a downloadable product it always requires a delivery method. Shouldn't shipping modules be disabled on checkout if it is a downloadable product? What did I miss on the admin settings?

Please help...Thanks.

Help...Anyone??

I've waited patiently over 2 full days for, I guess it would seem, a simple answer and I've yet to get one.

I was very interested in purchasing the Enterprise Store server version howeveer, this experience has shown me that ViArt and its support community is still infant and does not have the true capabilities to back their product efficiently and in a timely manner. Without real support you have no real product. So I'm moving on an I'll be purchasing SunShop which, by the way, does have a Toll Free 800 number with a "Live" sales or tech support to answer every question you may have.

Good luck.

Hello, Brandon

We would like to apologize for the delay with an answer. It is somewhat hot period for our support team as we have a lot of queries and we do our best to cope with them as soon as possible.

You can set the weight for your downloadable products to zero and specify the minimum weight for your shipping methods to more than zero (for example starting from 1). Then the shipping charges won't be calculated for downloadable products with zero weight.

And one thing more is that our support team answers all the requests which are sent to support@viart.com. Forum is just an open place where our customers can discuss different things. So, if you want to get a reply to your request, we would ask you to send it to support@viart.com.

With kind regards,
ViArt Support Team

Anjula,
Whilst I can appreciate why you might want to concentrate your primary efforts on email support these forums are a godsend for any new user like me who is migrating from other systems and needs to learn a little more - just like the very helpful answer youv'e given.

You should perhaps consider that information here would help those who might otherwise email - saving you work!

I totally agree with Ned.
Post the solutions to the problems rather than saying "Please send in a support ticket".
