Any suggestions on how I can change the entire background with some sort of image in the header section.
 
So I have my logo on the top left and I would like another image sitting below it, the entire width of the header space.
 
Not being too technical, how does this display change as it seen by different sizes of monitors. What size do I make the image?

In Rainbow the background is a 1-pixel wide graduated image.
 
However, I have a full-width banner that could have any background :

Such a background would not,of course, extend down below menus to the start of product columns if that is what you need?

I want it to stop on the top. I am more trying to understand how it works left to right. I mean how wide do I make it.
 
I am using Classic Light Blue template, its the full length of the screen. I dont want the site to scroll off to the right.
 
Something similar to what ViartGuru has on his templates.

To change background behind the logo - you must do it in CSS
check around line 35 = .headerMenu td#logo {
 
This should do the trick.

line 446 - .commonbg { background: #000000;}.

Overall background color I can change. Its behind the logo on the header I want to place a graphic image, I just don't know how big (width) it is supposed to be.
 
In that headermenu can I just place an image and the program will adjust its size?
