I am finally using the users registration feature, and now have a new problem with the helpdesk. Here is what is happening:
 
1. in the past with unregistered people the helpdesk has worked great.
 
2. now I'm testing a logged-in user with the helpdesk. They are not notified by email when I give a response from the helpdesk.
 
3. Weird... the helpdesk only fails to send an email if someone is logged in when they make the helpdesk request. If the same person, same email, is not signed in when they make a helpdesk request, they do receive the email when I give a helpdesk response.
 
I think I must have a wrong setting somewhere. Any ideas?
