I have created an advertisement in the shopping cart. and i have activated the advertisement from the administration module. but it is not visible in the links (for example posted in books link) how can get this visible

Please check if your Banner and Banner Group are active and all other banner parameters were set correctly.

Could you please confirm that 'Is Active' flag for your banner group is checked. Also please check if the 'Status' column has a value Active for banners in this group.
And the last thing. Please check whether your active banners are assigned to this active banner group.
