I changed the settings in the Administration - Global Settings - to try to set up a shared SSL that is provided by my host. Now it won't let me login? Is there anyway I can fix this?

How can I change my password to get access to turn of the ssl settings? Is there a config file where I can do this?
If I reinstall will I loose all my products?
Why has this happened - any advice would be great as I'm rapidly loosing hair and the will to live!Wall Bash:ranting:Wall Bash

To confirm, I had the same problem after reinstalling viart/php on a new windows xp installation, and it was exactly this. The default windows php 5.x session temp path is C:\windows\temp\php\session

It seemed PHP couldnt/didnt create the \php\session folders automatically. As soon as I had created these under the temp folder I could login and phps session management came to life!

You should contact Viart Tech support, I had the same issue changing the settings within my Global settings, other words playing to see how it changes or react to it, and I got lock out...they restore my admin login somehow upon my request.

Also I notice later on if you are going to play with it, make sure to uncheck the SSL within the admin login checkbox.

I still have some issues with not knowing how to set properly the SSL, specially when I add the "s" to my SSL URL within "Global Settings" trying to get Google to work...big mess but I have fixed all my past issues, I will go over this one too...I am so glad I pay the tech support feed...it is really worth it...at least for me have been,
Just trying to help
