Hi,
I changed the template block_latest.html to have e.g. latest news instead of news latest, but the site still shows the original way.
Is there something to do I miss?
Thanks
Fabio

Sorry I dont understand. Which version are you using and what part of the template did you change?

Hi,
I changed the way titles are showed.
Latest News e.g instead of News Latest in Block_Latest.html
The problem is that the change is not applied to site.
Thanks
Fabio

I think you changed the html code instead of changing the static message.
Undo what you did and go to system>static messages and search for "latest news"

I edited the templates to reflect "Latest Products" since it was backwards. I chose to do it in the custom template so I wouldn't have to update the messages file with every upgrade :)

The {Products_Latest} is just a reference to the static message for that property afaik. If you change the {} then you stuff it up.

Hi,
I am using the CMS and I have different articles such as reviews, news, etc.
So I inverted to <div>{LATEST_TITLE} {top_category_name}</div> to have the static message before the top category name ( any of new, review, etc.)
I would know why this doesn't work.
(It was suggested in chat last week).
Thanks
Fabio

Hi,
Actually I do not like static message, because if I use multilanguage site, the static message remains English. You can see it in the demo also. I would like all the strings are translateable. And one expression - one string. At many places ViArt puts together two strings, but in many languages the word order is different. (Like above: "Latest").
But I like ViArt even it has many bugs, problems!
