That will be good features if the currencry were connected with webservice (e.g. xe.com).
 
And if the service is not available than the database will be a backup to retrieve the currency rate.

There is an available similar possibility to regularly update currencies from currencysource.com.
You can find the link 'Update from currencysource.com' at the bottom of the currencies list.

could you implement the xe.com still? It has more currencies. For example, I can't live update to RUB.
Also some autoupdate timer would be nice to have.
