Can the meta title for basket be changed within viart admin or do I have to go into the html code.
 
+ does anybody know what the cms setting for the basket page block shopping basket
  
is used for as when I check a box nothing changes on screen

Meta - f you mean the "View Cart" page (basket.php) the title in the head section is "Shopping Basket". This can be changed in the first definition of "messages/xx/cart_messages.php" in "Admin > System > System Static Messages" but this will also change the block title in the page unless you modify the html.
 
CMS - Ive looked at this but have no changes on screen as well. Perhaps its an "undocumented future feature"

These fields are created for the Fast Checkout feature and therefore will show up only if there is activated Fast Checkout for any of the available payment options. Country, State and Postal code are necessary to be able to define the shipping cost as with Fast Checkout when customer clicks on the payment's gateway's logo on basket.php, he is transferred at once to the payment system's website.
 
The Fast checkout option is added to each payment system to simplify the checkout process and it directs a customer to a payment system's site or to order final page (if you use a personal payment system) to submit the payment without necessity to pass all the steps of the checkout on your site. When activating this option a button with the gateway's logo appears on the basket page and when clicking on it your customer is transferred to the site of the payment system at once. Therefore, this option makes the checkout process faster.

Any ideas on how we change meta description and keywords for similar main pages e.g basket, veiw products etc
 
I am starting to wonder if a better option would be to build a custom page to act as view products, basket page etc so I have better control through the viart interface rather than meddling with the code ?
 
Does anybody know if this may affect the way the system works throughout the chopping process??
