I have eleven pages of manufacturers and the numbers are increasing. It is tedious to find a manufacturer to make changes.
 
We need to be able to search to find any particular manufacturer and also have the possibility to select any particular page : when I start, in order to get to page 11 I must move page by page through the first ten pages - slow.
 
Also, when new manufacturers are added they should sort alphabetically - at present the are appended at the end!
 
Hopefully this will be a simple matter to address at the next release?

Also I don't know what [in Static Tables > Manufacturers > Edit Manufacturer:] the field: "Manufacturer Order*" is about.
 
I would expect that it is the sort order. If this is so it is difficult to decide in a set up with so many manufacturers and constant updates. It is a required field so I put 1 each time.
An alphabetic sort would be a good default position.

I believe company is the vendor you get it from, and manufacturer is (if different) who makes the product...?

I guess you are right, Dan, but unfortunately we have to keep guessing - it's back to the manual and the need for clear definitions.
