I really wish they would stop making changes to the templates. The purpose of making the html code separate from the rest of the code is for easy upgrades and layout managment. Every time there is an update, something subtle stops working because they've changed something in the templates. like just now, changing {forum_href} to {forum_url}! WHY?!
 
If the changes must be made, I would rather get a list of things to add to the templates with the new upgrade package so I can go in and make them manually.
 
Otherwise there are changes and you don't know about them at all until a customer points it out and then you have to go hunt for the change. And because you've done your complete site design with the templates, of course you aren't going to replace all of your templates everytime there is an upgrade. That defeats the purpose.

 
Exactly. There is huge amount admin templates to change and some user skin templates. Its to much if uptade them all manually. I preffer a list which template file is different from previous version viart engine. Like 'PiedPiper' said.

Usually we are trying to change the templates as small as possible, however the latest version features the totally new Forum that has nothing similar to the previous Forum - it means that ALL Forum scripts and templates where built from scratch, sorry for any inconvenience that it might have caused to you.
 
As for the list of changes, thanks for an idea, we are thinking of arranging such a list in the nearest future.
