Hello, trying to get my head around product type and how it can be best used.
My first shop is going specialise in fishing baits, now although the vast majority of products will be bait these can broken down in different types
Pellets
Hook Baits
Additives
These having many variations (flavours) themselves, plus something like pellets can be sold by weight and size.
How can product types be used to add listing of such products?

Hello,
I think product types is not exactly what you need here - this is simple categorization of products. Product types is more for your internal use: for example, you can assign some default options that can be easily set for a product type - please see http://www.viart.com/default_options.html for more info on this.
