ViArt Limited proudly announces the major new upgrade to the already popular ViArt CMS System - ViArt 4.0
ViArt 4.0 uses a different approach in addressing various aspects of the CMS system and is quite different from its predecessors, hence we have decided against calling it version 3.7.
And for all our patient and understanding ViArt users, this BETA version is available now to download directly via the following link:

IMPORTANT: This version is intended for only those who wish to test and check the new features. WE STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO UPGRADE YOUR EXISTING ONLINE STORES TO THIS BETA VERSION!
Note: This version is also intended for those who do not have Zend Optimiser on their servers or have difficulties installing it
What's new in the reprogrammed CMS system?
1) First and the most significant change is the new frame system. It allows users the ability use different types of layouts (two-columns, three-columns and any other multi-frame based layouts) on all your pages and join columns into one frame.

In addition, you can use a different style for each frame.
2) Second notable change relates to modification of various blocks:
- Ability to easily add new blocks via Admin interface. All you need is to create a php script (or take a default one), click Add button on the page 'admin_cms_blocks.php' and simply fill the name of the block and the name of the script.
- Ability to use a different template and style for each individual block.
- Ability to use different options for each block through 'Options' settings.
- Ability to create duplicates of any blocks and use different settings for each duplicated block.

Note: At present you will not be able to use all available blocks on each page. But in future we will add the ability to use every block available in ViArt Shop on any page as required.
3) CMS modules added
CMS modules are designated to group and display CMS blocks or pages.
4) Separate CMS pages secttion is added. This section lists all available CMS pages which can be attuned and edited through CMS.
Besides these changes, the reprogrammed CMS also allows to:
- Specify individual meta keywords and meta tags for each page
- Ability to use different layouts on every user home page
