Ok, great idea...but how to make it work?
 
Specifically, how are "Merchant Fee" and "Affiliate Commission" product settings used in conjuction with the "Affiliate Code" customer settings to allow a customer to earn commissions?
 
If I assign a customer 'http://www.edsets.com/?af=wrathe" and then load that link into a browser, does that mean any products purchased in that browser session will generate commissions and fees per the product settings?
 
I wasn't able to find info on this, would appreciate a one-paragraph tutorial on how to set this up.
 
It's important to me becaus ALL my sales are word-of-mouth referrals, and my customers deserve some thanks for it..

And while I'm thinking about this, does V8 have facility to use validation codes like the one we see when posting here on the Viart discussion boards?

HI! I have many Web site and I Want my affiliate or reseller to be able to link to any web page with their affiliate link.
 
Example
 
Site 1: is the store www.myStore.com/shop
site 2 : my other web site www.myOtherwebSite.com
 
if I use that link : http://www.myOtherwebSite.com
?af=http://www.myStore.com/shop/?af=Affiliate_code
 
Will I'll be able to trace that visitor and pay the affiliate his commission?
 
Also if a reseller affiliate buy in our store with his reseller price (E.G half the regular price) does the commissions apply?
 
Scenario: He may click on his own affiliate link and buy a product
