is it possible to upgrade from 3.2 ? to the new 3.7
or is the advise to reprogram php and css?
 
maybe a stupid question ;)

I hope the beta version will be announced tomarrow. I am waiting since few weeks to start customizing the new version. Please do not delay any more :)

Yes it's possible to upgrade 3.2 -> 3.7, but if you have many changes it will cost a lot

We need some more time to complete a new release 3.7. While you're waiting for the beta version, we think you may want to see a new look of the administration panel.
 
Please, see an attachement with the screenshots of a few administration pages.
We hope you will like a new administration panel as well as other tremendous features and modifications that will be available in a new version.

Nice, clean, aesthetic design on the admin panels. I find that good layout and aesthetics are often neglected in the back-ends of shopping cart software I have tested. It's good to see attention paid to these things by ViArt.
 
Looking forward to the release - especially the DIV-based layouts.
 
 

oh man, I can't wait to work with the new version! I have been putting off redesigning my site for way too long and the waiting period is killing me!
Looking really promising though!

To be quite honest, I've looked at the new admin images that are attached, and it seems to be more crayola looking (Looks less feature heavy). I'm sure it will have many new features, however I will just have to wait and see. I will admit that I liked the old layout better.

Anjula and crew, The four screens you are showing on the new admin panel look great - more intuitive and easier to sense how things fit together. I look forward to seeing 3.7!

Can you add CC Avenue payment processing system into the new version please. I think you can get much more Indian business then.

The new admin could be a good improovement in admin usability.

Anjula - a pdf download would be very useful when its finished so we can browse off line ?

It would also help if pages could be made to fit page width.
 
I have a wide screen but still need to scroll across to see the whole page.

any news on beta? Its end of feb now.

I received this reply to a query last Wednesday:
'Unfortunately, right now we're unable to give any date for the new release until it is ready.
As for bringing 3.7 Beta version to a production one it is also rather difficult to forecast anything here.'
 
..so looks like we've just got to sit this one out

I had the same answer from Viart.
now its march, my boss is getting a bit (how do you say it in correct english) ;) told me to look around to other card vendors. i hope i defend Viart not for nothing!
