Brief
We have slightly updated the 'admin_admin.php'' file for release 3.5.
 
Description.
When creating a new administrator via Admin panel the fields for login and password were not displayed.
 
Solution.
We would recommend to download an updated version of the file from here: http://www.viart.com/downloads/admin_admin-3.5.zip
 
Further, extract the above mentioned file into the 'admin' folder of your shop replacing an existing one. Don't forget to make a backup copy of the current file in case something goes wrong.

Look come on chaps!! Ive been away and having seen the above thought I had better download a complete archive to make sure I was up to date.
 
But the date stamp for the above update shows 13th June - so it hasn't been updated in the zip archive.
 
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU UPDATE THE ARCHIVE WHEN YOU UPDATE COMPONENTS.

I think Ned is right, a have all the patches rolled up into a single download.
 
I would also roll patches into the full distribution as well.

In my view theres no problem in announcing single patches but a rolled up version of the patches doesn't address the real problem.
 
If you were new to ViArt and wanted to try it you would use the zip/exe/tar full distribution as a starting point. You wouldn't know about the patches unless you stumbled across the forum.
 
So perhaps the correct course of action from ViArt is to:
A - Update the full distribution with any new patch.
B - Announce the patch and its download location as present.
 
This is of course dependent on ViArt being confident the patches work

Why is that ViArt won't create a location where you can just browse the directory of ALL fixes produced for a given release? They release them one at a time by postings here, but create no accurate directory of all fixes. It would be SO much easier if we could just FTP to a directory that had all fixes by release, and download what we need, and not have to ask them what has been released.
