ok here's the drill.... have viart installed in a dir off of the root...
Was updating the root index.html page, and the next thing i saw was "deleting all files and directories in ......root.... IT's all gone...month's of work...
 
What and how is the easiest way too get everything back up the way it was ???.. the files seam to still be in myphpadmin... but I have no clue on where too start??
 
I was doing database dumps through viart where are these files stored ?
do i need to install 3.5 from scratch, and copy the licence.php file over to the /includes????
 
any help will be appreciated.... Just awaiting reply from the web server if they can do it from yesterdays backup ????

Have you thought about asking your hosting admin to restore a recent backup?

If your database is "intact" - then at least your product database will be safe. However, if you had performed any customisations on the CMS itself, then those would be lost.
 
Assuming you were hosted on a linux server - there still is a way to restore your deleted files - however, you would need to speak with your hosting provider regarding this ...
