If you use import feature for bulk price update it always consider the products as new and add them into database so you have duplicate products. There must be a way to update prices from excel "csv" price lists. The system should match the products by using product name or product code and should not consider them as new. For example I have a list containing my product codes, product names and their prices so I update my list every month but cannot use it to update my products' prices in viart.

You need to export your products along with Product ID field then you will be able to update products when you will import them back.

Hello!

We just have ordered an "Easy Stock Level and Price Update" custom coding for the import feature. This will use Code or Manufacturer Code to match the imported data to Your products.

The feature will be available for everyone in the new release (the final version, not the beta).

Hi,

The feature config is in the admin / Product Options / import export tab. You can check the product/manufacturer code to mach by. But unfortunately I havent got any success in this new feature - we payed for.

I'm in testing, so will send bug reports to the support, as finished...

This is an important addition, presume this is in the v3.6 release ?

Was there any movement on this (like integration into 3.6)?

This is in V3.6. You need to make a little setup in Product Settings - Import/export tab to enable the match by CODE and/or Product Code.

I've used it some times, and works great...
