I'm trying to configure ViArt 3.6 to work with 2Checkout but I have a problem.

Even if the cart has several items on it, only one item description, etc. is passed to 2CO.

I have used the default 2CheckOut "Payment System" as it comes out by default and it passes the total amount OK, but only one item description even in cases where there are multiple items in the cart.

I changed the "Form Submit Method " from POST to GET to see what was being passed and I noticed that the {digit) parameter as in c_name_{digit} never changes.

In my case is always "11"

Here some variables from the GET string that gets passed to illustrate:
c_name_11=Medium+Back+Rocking+Chair
&c_name_11=High+Back+Rocking+Chair

As you can see 2 different items are passed OK, but the {digit} value never changes :(

That's why I figured that 2CO only sees one item name.

How can I fix this?

We like this software very much and would definitely upgrade to a bigger version but have been unable to get it to work with our payment processor 2CheckOut.

Thanks a lot for any help on this issue.

Regards to all,

Unfortunately most of the payment scripts do not (no longer) work. We had to fix cashU, Worldpay and Moneybookers ourselves in 3.6 because they did not work out of the box.

I'm sure this is also the case with 2CO which we had to fix in a 3.5 shop we run. Not sure what the issue was back then, I can try to find out if you want.

First, thank you very much for answering to my problem.
What you said sheds a lot of light on it, and ends a lot of frustration and time wasted.

Yes, anything you could find out in regards to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

There must be somebody out there using ViArt shopping cart with 2CheckOut successfully. If not, I guess 'll have to dig into the 2CO module code and see if I can fix something there

Thanks again!
