Hi,

Is it a way to get the category listed in the block "Products list" and in the "Breadcrumb" in the multi-language system?
I mean like the top menu and other messages text that change with the selected langage.
It would be very interresting to get it change related to the language selected so you can have a full multi-language site or you get all the content change but a menu in one language only...

I hope it is just a small settings (like the [en]) otherwise I think to build a custom block for the product list (but it will need to be updated manualy) but I don't know how to make the "breadcrumb" system.

Thanks

Yes, if you add to the category name with the [en]..[/en][fr]xxx[/fr] etc syntax the category name changes with the selected language.

Standard messages are also in the "messages" folder - en for the English messages and fr - French, etc.

So, when you offer the language choice on screen, the program picks up the appropriate language messages.

Merry thanks Ned it is working just fine... Good
Dunno why I didn't just test it before (I tested the message not that simple [xx] one Shock )

ChristopherO: yes they are and all other multi-language thing and i already changed the " RELATED_PRODUCTS_TITLE" to "Other Colors" to use the related system for show the differents colors for one article Yahoo!
And it can be easy to use that message system on any custom block for static text even if it is not so fast to change them for every language and you need to add a new message for each language you want (not automatic added to all language seems) so the [xx] system is way faster to use for simple text and for things that change a lot Wacko

Because ViArt havn't yet implemented a way of calling user changed PHP files in preference to the files in the released version do remember to copy any changed messages files into a "changed" sub directory for each language.

That way if you upgrade and overwrite your php files you can compare the new versions in the upgrade with the old versions you have changed.
Otherwise they will be overwritten!

Thanks to tell me about this "no saved changes" that is overwrited when upgrading or install back the system because I didn't know (ok I didn't RTFM yet Crazy) that those messages where in php files and not in the DB Searching
By the way I suppose it is possible to edit directly those php files to add new messages or edit them because this will be faster than using the admin? Broad grin
I suppose too that it is a description somewhere about all the files that containt possible user modified settings that you need to check before upgrading or restoring... Smile
