Someone help me out if possible. Vera helped me with this, but I was never able to make it work.

1. We install motorcycle audio gear into customers' motorcycle helmets. Ok.

2. Customer pays for the audio gear, and an installation fee. Ok.

3. Customer sends us the helmets and they give us a UPS return lable in the carton. Ok.

The problem comes in when other customers see the 'zero' shipping method, they quickly use it (even it is easily understood that it is NOT FREE SHIPPING) and then we have to then recover our shipping fee manually for those normal orders.

The ideal SOLUTION is that we need a 'no shipping charge' shipping method that APPEARS ONLY when the Installation service we offer is part of the checkout.

Example: I buy a headset and the installation service and the customer pays for that, and they don't owe us any shipping at all. But when the customer is in check out, they find that there is a mandatory shipping method, or our 'highly abused' free shipping.

In other words, IF you buy our installation service and you ship the helmets to us, and we use the UPS return label, the customer does not owe us any shipping costs.

IF we use the current zero shipping method, our eager and greedy customers for normal paid orders will use the free one always.

I AM BASICALLY ASKING HOW TO SHOW A 'ZERO' SHIPPING METHOD ONLY WHEN THE ORDER CONTAINS THE INSTALLATION SERVICE PRODUCT.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

Hi Ed,

If you haven't found a solution yet, can you send me a link to your store so I can get a better idea of what you want? Not sure if I can help but I'll take a look.
