Does ViArt have the capability of generating site maps that is in XML?

Unfortunately, at present there is no such possibility in ViArt Shop.

It would be better to use another program such as
 
sitemaps.hopto.org
 
I have used this for some time and it has lots of great features which also check the structure of your site and this will alert you to possible errors
 
If you can install ViART then you can install sitemaps.hopto.org

Actually, such XML and HTML sitemap functionality has been added in our latest 3.2 version.

Yes, but hopw do you actually use the site map function?
I can see site map in the INDEX LAYOUT of the LAYOUTS screen.
I can add the site_map.php to my menu item,but the page always appears blank.
How do I actually get the site map to work?
-Note - I did forst attempt to look thorugh the manuals online but found nothing returned when searching "site map".
