I want to move the logo in global settings to center but it seems to stay left. Anyone any ideas how to make it go in the middle?

I know there are a lot of customisation options and even changing layout then wanting to change the treetop.gif background colour is a big hunt .. anyone know the name of the file this sits on?

You may change it in your template CSS file.

Thanks for answering if a bit vague.

I take it its the header I should be editing as it relates/ links to the logo in global settings. With the tr.gif file being the background to the image I use as my logo, which if I reduce in size affects it slightly however I want it so all the blank space is usable. Also the greetings/intoduction block filled from global settings doesn't span the whole page so the right hand column is a blank block also.

If I change to a different layout such as ecommerce the menu bar fits this right hand side so surely as I use classic I should be able to this. If not then as I don't like the colours in ecommerce I may need to change these, more work!

A proper manual would be handy, still all in all I am a viart cart enthusiast tho Good

Ok got the greetings bit that was in the css index a colspan set at 2.

Now if the header is the same .. but no in the header file changing to 3 doesn't seem to affect it.

A very useful tool is to use the Firefox browser with the CSSViewer tool. This give a very good indication of how the page css makes up elements of the page simply by running the mouse pointer over the page and reading the popup that appears.

Sometimes the simplest answer is the best - doh - ie enlarge the image to 1200 width .. thanks Michael in support :)
