Hello again. One other question.
 
I am trying to add an Option under Product Types that applies to all products but costs a percentage of the item cost. For instance:
 
product: Shoe costs $60
option: Want to make it awesome? That costs 60% more.
 
Joke product, but real issue.
 
I have 60 placed in the "percentage" field of this option, but it does not apply to the order. The name of the option shows in the basket, but its cost does not. Is there a setting in ViArt that needs to be on/off for percentages to work?

Why not try setting it up as a commission on the product "s"

ah, that would probably work in one sense, but not for what i need. i didn't explain well (my fault!).
 
two characteristics of what i need here:
 
1.) the option can only be selected in certain cases, so it doesn't apply to every product. it only applies sometimes to some products.
2.) i'm using the quantity-based pricing module (i.e. 100 cups for $100, 1000 cups for $1000), so the percentage-based price option needs to inherit whatever the selected quantity-price is and calculate from that.
 
given the fact that i'm using a quantity-price method, should the percentage-based price option automatically inherit the user-selected quantity-price value? or is there a setting within viart somewhere where i need to allow this? or, is there an internal dynamic variable form for this value, such as {price} or something?
