Hi all,
I would need to have shipping costs based on payment type and country of delivery.
We sell books and the courier charge us a fixed cost for in country deliveries and a fixed surcharge for EU deliveries
So, if the user (in Italy) chooses COD he pays 8 or if he choose credit card he pays 6.90
 
An user from Europe should be allowed only to pay by credit card 12
 
An user located outside Europe will have to choose Fedex or DHL shipping.
 
The question is: How can I limit the payment choices for user from abroad?

Giuseppe,
from what I've seen in viart, you can easily add a "processing fee" to a payment option and this fee will be added to the cart when the customer chooses the given payment option.
So in your case you can add a fee of say 1.10 for COD, that will be added to the standard 6.90 shipping charge.
 
To limit a given shipping option to a given set of countries is easy and the functionality is already in viart, check the page to edit a shipping option.

thank you but maybe I'm not able to see your point..
The problem is that COD is a method of payment and then it appears in the payment gateway listbox in the checkout page.
If the customer choose the COD as a shipping option he has to pay at the delivery site not by any other system.
And I didn't find a way to limit (for customer abroad) the COD option.

I know it sounds like a botch but you could have two shipping options:
 
UK = £xx.xx
UK COD = £yy.yy
 
The customer has to select at checkout but at least it works; otherwise you need Viart to customise for you.
