I have to use the "State" field for US addresses, and for many other countries, there is the 'Province' field. For some reason, customers tend to get confused between the two and it causes problems with Endicia Pro.

Since Viart added the 'Country' field, which is generally filled in first since the last update, I would have hoped that a non-USA would default to using/showing the Province field, but it doesn't, and I understand that's not an easy thing to change.

When I have an address like this:

James Jones
7333 Buckingham Lane
City B3Z1M4

It will usually get delivered because embeddded inside the postal code is the province "Nova Scotia", for example.

Perhaps Viart can suggest when and how to show both fields or how to hide the irrelevant one based on the Country.

Currently, my international shipments don't show the province when it's actually part of the address, and that's something I need to take up with Endicia.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Ed

I have similar types of issues that the State v Country selectors seem to only be tied together on the registration pages and not everywhere else.

Especially in the one-page-checkout where if you click the box to make delivery same as address, the state field is not filled in and you have to change Country, then change country back for state field to be updated
