Products with options receive many w3c errors on validation sites, for example
"Line 127, Column 11: end tag for "span" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified"
 
Solution

Download the file and extract 'items_properties.php' into 'includes' folder of your shop replacing the existing file. Please do not forget to make a backup copy of the current file in case something goes wrong.
